THREE GOOD REASONS TO CHOOSE RRR RED SUPER BALDIES:
First, our red super baldies are TRUE F1's: Our registered Red Brangus and our registered Herefords are bred together, guaranteeing you the benefit of all the hybrid vigor we can get out of them. True F1s are always the better way to go for commercial cattlemen looking for replacement females and greater gains in feeder calves.
Second, red cattle gain and start to marble better on grass than black cattle - this will reduce the amount of GRAIN feed needed to fatten them up. This is being proven out in the Akaushi world and breeders of red cattle have seen this long before then. In the summer heat, we see our black cattle up in the trees trying to stay cool while our reds are grazing and gaining in the pasture...
Third, we believe this combination gives a cattleman or meat buyer a great advantage. Brangus cattle keep the marbling from the Angus influence and have the heartiness to withstand and resist our southern heat & pests from the Brahman influence. Now you add the Hereford influence to have shear cutability and tenderness as well as some good marbling too and you've got a great beef product.
